Legal  texts for a new Russian Constitution and treatise by Martin Luther,  fairy tales by Hermann Hesse and a book about Ludmila Putina, poems  by Grigory Oster and jokes of Semyon Altov, letters of Mozart and  \u201cEconomy  of the Roman Empire\u201d, scandalous novels by Elfriede Jelinek and medical\u00a0   histories\u2026  all this mixed lot live in her heart in harmony. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-gb\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Times New Roman\">The atmosphere of the evening  was warm and homey, with colleagues, friends and students who came to  listen to the stories of her professional career. The programme included   reading of short passages from translations (Irina Alexeeva has  translated  more than 70 fiction books and journalist essays) and demonstration  of some rare editions, including an exclusive edition of a new Russian  translation of \u201cFaust\u201d by Goethe, by consensus the best one to date,  which was even offered as a commemorative present to President Vladimir  Putin. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/spbs.herzen.spb.ru\/?page_id=14&amp;lang=ru-ru&amp;album=2&amp;gallery=50\"><span lang=\"en-gb\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;
