\u00a0<\/span>On April 4-9, 2011 Nikolai Alankin, Chief of the Russian Interpretation Section, UN Headquarters, New York gave lectures and master classes at the St Petersburg School of Conference Interpreting and Translation. Mr. Alankin gave a number of classes in simultaneous interpretation to the students of the School. He had a series of meetings with the University and School administration, as well as with the faculty meetings and gave some practical advice on the curriculum and conference equipment of the School.
