SpbS Graduates in demand on the job market!<\/p>\n SpbS graduates are claiming their rightful space on the language mediation market in Russia and in the world.<\/p>\n In 2009-2011 40 graduates of the School have been awarded diplomas in conference interpreting and conference translation. This is where they find employment:<\/p>\n The MFA of Russia – 7 people (5 are on staff in the Department of Linguistic Support (Moscow) and one person holds a position at the Russian Mission to the EC, one person is employed at the MFA Office in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky), staff interpreters.<\/p>\n The UN Headquarters (New York) – 4 are staff translators in the Russian Translation Service, and another 2 are currently going through the staffing procedure to enter the Service later in the year.<\/p>\n The UN Information Centre (Moscow) – one person as a staff interpreter.<\/p>\n 10 graduates are on the UN freelance interpreters list<\/p>\n 2 graduates were on short-term assignments with the Russian Translation Service in the UN Offices in Geneva and Vienna<\/p>\n One person is on the EU freelance interpreters list<\/p>\n Internships in the UN Translation and Interpretation Services:<\/p>\n \u2022 UN Headquarters in New York – 20<\/p>\n \u2022 UN Office in Geneva – 4<\/p>\n \u2022 UN Office in Vienna – 2<\/p>\n 16 are successful freelancers in Russia.<\/p>\n Corporate employment:<\/p>\n \u2022 NGO “Medecins sans frontieres” (Netherlands), Moscow office, staff member,<\/p>\n \u2022 \u00abABBYY\u00bb Inc., staff member,<\/p>\n \u2022 Translation agency “Janus” (Moscow), staff member,<\/p>\n \u2022 Translation agency “Martin” (Moscow), staff member,<\/p>\n \u2022 “Eclectic Translations”, LLC (St Petersburg), staff members,<\/p>\n \u2022 “Northern Capital Gateway”, LLC, staff member,<\/p>\n \u2022 Siemens Gas TurbineTechnologies, LLC, staff interpreter,<\/p>\n \u2022 “Ilim”, LLC, staff interpreter,<\/p>\n \u2022 “UNIBEP” Holding, Airport City St Petersburg company, staff member,<\/p>\n \u2022 “Okhta Business Center” JSC (Gazprom in S.Petersburg), staff translator.<\/p>\n \u2022 “Fagerhult”, LLC, marketing coordinator<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" SpbS Graduates in demand on the job market!
