margin-bottom: 0cm\" align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-gb\">\u00a0\u00a0 This recently started programme presupposes signing of such agreements with one or two universities of certain counties working with the six official UN languages. By now the Memorandums have been signed only with the University of Westminster (Great Britain), Shanghai International Studies University and Beijing Foreign Studies University (China), and the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia (St Petersburg, Russia).  <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 0.95cm; margin-bottom: 0cm\" align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-gb\">\u00a0\u00a0 At the request of the UN Secretariat based on its experience of working with Russian universities, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs proposed Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia as a possible partner for cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 1.25cm; margin-bottom: 0cm\" align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-gb\">Herzen University was chosen due to the widely-recognized quality of foreign-language teaching, and successful development of interpretation and translation field.
